Year Three: Experimenting with Where We Are Going
In the third and final residency, the Year Three cohort will be invited to come with a dream or experiment, a challenge or difficulty, and approach that in conversation and discernment with faculty and other cohort members. By the end of the residency, the goal will be to have something to take back to the Presbytery, either ready to implement or ready to invite others into planning.
MONDAY Exploring a mind shift to possibility and reframing tools to strengthen the possibility to change and take risks.
TUESDAY Creating an environment of grace, where failure becomes something to learn from instead of taboo and grace can be found even in constraints.
WEDNESDAY What are the habits and ratios of energy and innovation, and what kinds of self and organizational habits support change and dreams?
THURSDAY How do you evaluate how things are going and how to you gather feedback during the process of experimenting in order to build a stronger system? What are you taking back and what kind of support will you invite going forward?
It was a delight… [The Residency] gave us a chance to get to know each other and to lay the
groundwork for the kind of sharing that makes this work richer and more creative. The
leadership was stellar.
